HARLEM PRIDE welcomes LGBT friends and neighbors to a presentation, "The LGBT Life & Langston" by Harlem historian and Columbia University Community Scholar, John Reddick reflecting on Langston Hughes' LGBT friends, collogues and romantic associations viewed through the "camera" lens of his friend, long-time letter correspondent and photographer Carl Van Vecthen.
Also, it's a great opportunity to vist the interior of Langston's home and enjoy a reception and the witty presence of fellow writer and sometime Hughes nemesis, "Zora Neal Hurston" as she joins the festivities!
The talk and reception will take place from 6:00PM - 8:30 PM. Reception provided courtesy of Kai & I Catering
