Join us as we celebrate the launch of the inaugural issue of The Canopy Review!
The Canopy Review is a literary journal curated by MFA students at The Writer's Foundry at St. Joseph's College. The collection embraces innovative work with the aim to be an ally for contemporary writing, with an emphasis on emerging voices. It welcomes poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and non-traditional, experimental, or cross-genre narratives and styles.
This free event will take place in the historic Langston Hughes House in Harlem. Food and drinks (wine and nonalcoholic beverages) will be provided, and writers included in the journal will read from their work.
About The Canopy Review:
“Canopy” brings to mind an umbrella or the uppermost layer in a forest. Our mission is to provide a space for writers whose work may fall out of mainstream aesthetics and for those whose work challenges, assuages, and arrests.
We look forward to seeing you at the launch party!
