During these open hours, the community is welcome to visit and enjoy the parlor floor where one of Mr. Hughes’ family piano and one of his typewriters are available for viewing. The second and third floors are not accessible at this time, as the rooms are still being prepared for future programming. Tourists, students (20 teens/children or less), walking/bike tours and groups are invited to stop by.

I, Too Book Pile: Please keep a book or take a book from the I, Too Book Pile located immediately inside the main entrance.

Donation Collection: I, Too Arts Collective collects feminine hygiene products, toiletries and non-perishable/canned food items for area shelters and those without housing in Harlem. Feel free to drop off products during community open hours, or you may bring to any event attended at The Langston Hughes House.
